There’s something about an elegant dish like fresh pasta that instantly puts me in a feminine state.

Don’t you agree?

I’m talking about the whole setting: the soft warmth of slippery, glossy pasta, the way candlelight reflects off the oil, the creamy, savory comfort in every bite, the slowness of eating.

And of course, the sip of a perfectly paired wine.

A setting like this is just as sensual when you’re alone as when you’re with a beloved.

That’s the difference between simply eating and truly feeding the body.

Somewhere along the way, we traded fresh pasta and the pleasure it brings for quick three-minute noodles from a box (dry, chalky, white) stripped of that beautiful pale yellow hue of real eggs and flour. Top it with room-temperature canned sauce, and call it a day.

Ugh.

No wonder pasta has such a bad reputation.
No wonder women avoid it, afraid of gaining weight or feeling stuffed and bloated.

But here’s what I want you to know.

If you want to feel more feminine—more alive, more magnetic—it often starts by feeding her.

Your body.
Your senses.

Not with more perfume, or another dress. But with actual nourishment.

Feed her. Take care of her.

And just wait and see,
She will give it back to you tenfold.

P.S. When was the last time you cooked something just to delight your senses, not for convenience, but for pleasure?
